Colonel Birdsall,
the original surveyor of Peterborough County and area, homesteaded here
around 1825. From that time, people have been attracted to the beautiful,
sandy shore now known as Birdsall Beach.
Birdsall Beach Resort is located on Rice
Lake, 20 minutes from Peterborough, Ontario.
Our clean, quiet, friendly park is available
to seasonal campers, opening the first Saturday in May until Thanksgiving.
We also have provisions for overnight vacationers
who may choose between fully serviced sites to tenting with minimal services.
A two bedroom cottage unit is available
for rent at a reasonable rate. |
