I was active for many years as a scout parent when my older boys started in cubs. I drove them around to their activities and went to many of their camps. My only official service was as the treasurer on the Group Committee.
In 1993, I was finally registered as an assistant cub leader (Bagheera) and the next year I became the troop scouter, where I served for two years. I served as Group Committee Chairman for a year and am now in my second year as a beaver leader.
